Second Annual Run of the Mill Results:
|We had a wonderful 2nd Annual Run of the Mill on Saturday morning. The weather cleared, the runners and volunteers turned out and lined the streets of Brownsburg, Route 252 and Wades Mill Loop to cheer on the 55 runners. Over 40+ volunteers turned out to register the runners, keep the roads safe and time/place the finishers. Meghan Beard was the overall winner for a second year running. We had participants from age 10 (Lucy Gingerelli) up to age 85 (Juanita Poole) and congratulations to both! Prizes from Wades Mill, Tantivy Farms, Ridge Valley Alpacas, Lexington YMCA and Lexington Running Shop went to Meghan Beard, Leah Beard and Nicole Black (for the women) and to Ben St Ours, Mitchell Sutton and John Atthome (for the men). We’re looking forward to the 3rd annual run next Spring and hope to have more fun activities at the finish line next year. The BCA Board would like to thank all the runners, volunteers and sponsors for supporting this special community event.|
